A vintage Navajo rug, 29" x 32", hand-woven in 100% wool: a flatweave with no pile, reversible. Rug K1595.
Navajo rugs are weft-faced flatweaves woven by Diné (Navajo) weavers on an upright loom: bold stepped diamonds, bands and crosses in wool, with no pile and finished edges. They are woven, not knotted.
Mat size: a doorway, a bathroom, a child's reading corner or a wall piece.
Vacuum on low suction and turn it over now and then; both faces are finished. Have it washed by a rug cleaner, not a carpet cleaner, when it needs it.
One of a kind: when it sells, it is gone. Take it home on approval from our Evanston or Chicago showroom, or order it with free U.S. shipping and 30-day returns; a Durahold Plus pad cut to this rug's size is offered on the page.
