Chris Christenson: Mezcaline - 5'8"

A nice balance between a fish and shortboard, the Mezcaline has a lot of volume on the nose, a split tail like a fish, and a streamlined outline like a shortboard. It has the balance between speed, agility, and forgiveness, and is great in anything from groveling to head high waves (possibly even bigger).

Can be set up as a quad or thruster
Recommended for beginners transitioning to intermediate, OR intermediate to advanced surfers
Easy to duck dive
Has more rocker than a fish so not quite as fast
Very maneuverable
